A Greeting From Our Pastor

Pastor Bernard Brown was raised in the church by Christian parents and

at the age of twenty-one, he had an experience with God, a vision, and was called by Him, to serve in ministry. Since then, Pastor Brown has been on the battlefield for Christ, as a Sheppard. In 2007, he established GAP Deliverance Ministry, on the island of Jamaica, where he functioned as the senior pastor, and overseer. In 2015, he established a second ministry, Christ-The Living Banner in the city of Margate, Florida, USA, where he currently presides as senior pastor.

Pastor Brown continues to be a Sheppard to the flock, in the service of the Lord, where he conducts worship and dedication services, Bible studies, baptisms, and all other formal pastoral duties. The pastor invites all members and visitors to contact him for counseling, prayers, and any other liturgical needs.

Our Beliefs

We believe in the one eternal God of the Bible, the Creator of heaven and earth, who reveals
Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14, Ephesians 4:4-6).

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of
God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three distinct persons: God
the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:21, 2 Timothy 3:16-17,
Matthew 3:15-17).

We believe that the goal of every believer is to grow in spiritual maturity through God’s
grace, and obedience to the Word of God and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Psalm119:11, St. John 1:1).

We believe in salvation wholly through the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of
Jesus Christ. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides
divine healing for us in answer to prayers offered through faith. (Hebrews 9:22,
Romans 10:9-10, 13, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1Corinthians 15:3-4, 1 Peter 2:24,

Psalm103: 2-3, James 5:15).

We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man; He was born of a
virgin and that He lived a sinless life, He taught and performed many mighty works and
wonders, and signs revealed in the Gospels; He was crucified, died for our sins, and
was raised from the dead bodily.  Later, He ascended to the Father’s right hand where
He is the Head of the Church, intercedes for believers, and shall return in a personal,
visible, and imminent manifestation.  (John1: 1-3, Matthew 1:18, 21-23,

1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 1:11).
